DYR style is a rod buffer seal in U cup shape that is specifically engineered to withstand changes in pressure and still provide an excellent seal. It is made of urethane with a nylon back-up. They can withstand pressure up to 8,000 psi, temperatures from -40 to 230°F, and speeds of 3 ft/sec. Standard, or Imperial, sizes come in fractions of an inch.
