MWRT style wear rings are made from filled PTFE, they are suited for light duty bearing service but are more commonly used on the out board ends of a piston to protect the seal area from metal particles. They can withstand temperatures from -100 to 550°F, and speeds up to 12 ft/sec. It has a comprehensive strength up to 1,700 PSI and a tensile strength up to 2,200 PSI.
