Chemraz®
Chemraz® (FFKM) – (Green Tweed’s trademark name) Chemraz® is the Green Tweed version of Kalrez® (a Dupont trademark), Simriz® (a Simrit trademark), Markez® (a Marco Rubber trademark) or FFKM.
It is also a member of the perfluoroelastomer polymer family—polymers of three or more monomers in which all hydrogen positions have been replaced with fluorine. This complete state of fluorination results in outstanding resistance to heat and most chemicals and solvents.
Standard Durometer & Colors
Chemraz® O-Rings typically have a standard durometer range of 70 to 90 Shore A.
They typically are available in black, and white, as well as other colors like brown or tan, though these are less common.
Temperature Range for Chemraz® O-Rings
Chemraz® O-rings offer a broad temperature range, typically from -20°C to +260°C (-4°F to +500°F), making them suitable for both high and low-temperature applications. Certain grades of Chemraz can withstand temperatures up to +316°C (+600°F).
