Kalrez®
Kalrez® — a Dupont trademark name — is a perfluoroelastomer like Chemraz®, Simriz®, Markez® or FFKM. Kalrez® resists over 1,800 different chemicals while offering the high-temperature stability of PTFE (327°C).
Standard Durometer & Colors
Kalrez® O-Rings typically have a standard durometer range of 70 to 90 Shore A, with 75 being the most common.
They typically are available in black, brown, and white, but some manufacturers will offer them in other colors.
Temperature Range for Kalrez® O-Rings
Kalrez® O-Rings have an operating temperature range from approximately -20°F to 600°F, with some grades capable of withstanding temperatures up to 620°F.
